The place is cute, the service was good. I had eggplant Parmesan sandwich. It use to be better about 5 years ago. The bread isn't the same. I hope they change there bread. I had a few pieces of cheese that was to hard in my sandwich.

The food was so delicious. My first time trying it. Get the potato salad or coleslaw. These were absolutely the freshest and best I have tried. Had a huge salad that was loaded. Added boiled egg and chicken cutlet and I could even finish it. It was so delicious. Highly recommend. The place was clean and staff was amazing and helpful.

This is kind of a long review and I rarely give reviews good or bad but every so often I have to. So I travel the country for work and there are more not so good eateries than fantastic ones ( these are harder to find even with positive reviews). So i have been in CT working past several weeks and just driving past this place my vehicle just seemed to turn me towards Nardelli's Grinder Shoppe and i followed my vehicle . So far Ive been to this Nardelli's 4times in 1&1/2 weeks while in Danbury CT and have only great and deliciouosO experiences to share. Chicken Salad= More Chicken than salad stuff and deliciouosO. Italian Combo Grinder gets an A+++. Stuffed Pastrami Grinder also gets an A+++. I was hesitant to order this because back home in NC the old Franco's in New Bern had the greatest cheesesteak sub Ive ever had andhave been reluctant to try any other cheesesteak anywhere in the USA , even Philly so they custom made this for me with stuff that turns me on my way not anyone else's way soThe Nardelli's Steak and Cheese Grinder is now on my list of 2 cheesesteaks I'll eat. Steak and Cheese Grinder hetsan A+++. Of you desire good eats then pay for it because I surley will and do . Ronnie R

The day of New Year's Day eve my grandkids decided they wanted a 6 foot sub which they have never had. My wife called on a long shot and Nardelli's made it happen. They were and are fantastic. Additionally it tasted amazing. Best place ever and I will forever be indebted to them

One of my oldest "visiting up North" tricks is to hit delis like this to stock up on food for the room. Even if you don't have a mini-fridge or a microwave (fortunately, my hotel around the corner had both), sandwiches from these places usually travel well and keep well...and they beat the hell out of delivery (especially if you don't want food from a national chain and don't wanna take a gamble on an unknown local). Nardelli's is perhaps one of the very best and luckiest places I've found. The have a spectacular selection, all of which was incredibly delicious and reasonably priced. I expect to visit Danbury again, and when I do, I plan to stay at the same hotel...which means I'll have the advantage of knowing to pop into Nardelli's before I check-in!

We ordered through Seemless and had it delivered from the Danbury location. We got it when it was promised. The buffalo chicken was really good. I removed all the extras from mine to basically get the chicken and cheese. Next time I would get it on a cheese bread instead of the regular. Because it was delivered, it wasn't as hot as I would like. I popped it in the toaster for 2 minutes and problem solved. I have not had that issue when I'm in the store. The positive of delivery is that you don't have to leave your house, the negative is the food is never as warm as you would like. I will probably still order home delivery again.
